ICEC Youth Club has been established over twenty years and has the know-how to help young people and community members. It has experienced and qualified youth workers with extensive knowledge in Youth & Community Work. IYG also works with other professionals to provide joint projects/activities to develop a more cohesive community atmosphere. It is registered with WBC Youth Service and works in line with the Youth Work Curriculum.
Youth Development
The youth club provides services to young people from the ages of 7 – 21 years. Working with them to develop their social and moral well being through activities programmes as a medium. It gives young people an opportunity to meet in a safe and friendly atmosphere where they can share various views, feelings and skills amongst themselves. Islamic Youth Group also provides support & help to young people with formal education issues and problems.
We provide a safe and fully segregated service for young people to enjoy and participate in the activities that we have to offer.
Our Aim
Our aim is to provide alternatives to antisocial behaviour, criminal activity and substance misuse for some of the most disadvantaged young people in Wandsworth. We aim to empower and enable young people to participate in decision making and encourage them to Organise and lead events, thus improving their confidence and social wellbeing.
What we offer
We offer a variety of indoor and outdoor activities. The outdoor activities give young people an opportunity to develop their knowledge, physical skills and help to improve their personal and social development.
